Super 8 by Wyndham Decorah

Even though I had booked the cheapest possible room, and arrived late, I think perhaps for asking politely and not objecting to an upper floor, I was given a room right next to a special suite, which was very quiet. Also, it should be noted, this motel is right by the best gas station / convenience store in Decorah, with excellent selection and free ATMs.

It’s a nice hotel to stay at in Decorah. It’s a quiet location tucked behind the main roads. It doesn’t look great from the outside but it’s nice and our room was big. The breakfast was good, too. The staff were nice as well.

Entrance to hotel hard to see at night from the highway, it is obscured a little by layout of the road, poorly lit. Missed it, always went in the back way - it was easier anyways. Breakfast was more than I expected. Room was (mostly) clean - lots of hair deep, but visible, in shower drain (it will clog soon if they don't get it out). Friendly staff.
